Have you returned your free pass?

Have you ever decided that you will have a “free pass”, thank you very much?

That your pain or circumstance is unfair, unmerciful, and so unkind that you deserve to act anyway you want?

Have you stated your case so succinctly that others (your spouse, your friends, and even your dog) completely agree when you’re having a rough day and pull your out pass to get a few new outfits you don’t need, another vacation you really can’t afford, or something else?

Finding Grace in Failing

I passionately wrote out my prayer.

I never wanted to leave Him again.  God had loved me through everything, everything I had been and everything I done. All I wanted to do was to tell Him how much I loved him, and how much I wanted to please Him.

Later that day I sat and read over my letter to Him and there it was… in curly, expressive letters, “I want to live my life so that you will say well done good and faithful servant.”
